It's a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature's Supreme Masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict the reality…and nothing prepares you for your first sight.
This tour is conducted in the morning and afternoon. En route, clients may be taken past the 'Big Tree' where they may stop and take photos. Clients will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified Guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest. Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls

From the roar of the mighty Victoria Falls to the cultural experience of a villlage tour, Shockwave offers this tour in a village called Monde and Chisuma.
Clients are taken to an authentic African village approximately 20km from Victoria Falls town where they are given the opportunity to watch local villagers going about their daily tasks. The tour enables the client to see tribal life first hand, visiting rural homes, watching their fields being tended and possibly getting the chance to help in some of the day-to-day chores. Also you will go and visit local school and meet with these lovely kids full of smiles.
Recommendations: Bring any clothes, sweets, stationery, etc which can be useful to the villagers and school kids. Shockwave has donated a class room to help kids to have shelter during hot and rain season as this local Pre school did not even have a single class room.

Fishing on the Zambezi River to the novice or experienced angler is possibly as close as one can get to absolute perfection. But what can one expect to catch and how? What are the best times of year and what are the potential dangers if any?
As all fishermen know it is not only about the catch but it’s about being at one with nature and your surroundings. Well what better place can you do this than on the Mighty Zambezi River?
There are omore than 75 fish species found inhabiting these waters. The most sought-after of these is the Tiger Fish, well renowned as probably the greatest fighting fresh water fish around. It is a ferocious species which can grow as large as 33 lbs (15 Kg) in weight.
However you can also expect to catch three-spot, pink-happy and Yellow-belly bream, Upper Zambezi Yellowfish, African Pike and Silver Barbel to name just a few of the most common.
The gorgeous Yellow-belly Bream (Nembwe) reach over 4kgs in weight and is very popular amongst anglers. Vundu is a type of catfish and is the largest fish found in the Zambezi, and can grow as large as 100 lbs. However the Vundu is only found below the Victoria falls and not above the falls.

The Devils Swimming Pool and Livingstone Island Tour is a combined activity offered by Tongabezi a well known and respected tour operator in Victoria Falls - Zambia. This activity is only available from the Zambian side of Victoria Falls The Livingstone Island tour is seasonal and can only be done when the water level of the Zambezi River is low enough to allow safe access to Livingstone Island. Livingstone island was opened in 1992 to provide exclusive and unique picnics on the edge of the Victoria Falls. It is a protected area, that is only allowed a maximum of 16 people on at any one time. The utmost care is taken to protect and preserve the natural habitat of the area. Tongabezi have an exclusive operators licence to conduct this activity.
