Testimonial

We're so thrilled to have found LEMI Institute for our daughter. Not only is it an incredibly supportive environment for working parents, with flexible daycare options, the teachers are also so caring and patient with the children. I have wonderful peace of mind knowing my daughter is happy to be going to school in the morning, and it is lovely to see her full of chat and stories when I pick her up after class.

Mission

Our mission at the Little Explorers Montessori Institute is to develop boys and girls who are responsible, excited, free, and safe, capable of living and committing themselves as people within our actual reality, with the necessary tools for doing their life projects and getting it done, with a dimension of the fighting spirit.

Vision

Our vision at the Little Explorers Montessori Institute is to be the best preschool institute, with standards of excellence, oriented to the integral education of the individual in order to contribute to the bettering of their surroundings within their families and society, where they will develop and live.  It is an honor that the parents trust us with their little ones at the most important and crucial stage, where the foundation for the child´s personality is established, as said by Maria Montessori.

Philosophy

Education is not what the teacher gives.  Education is a natural process brought about spontaneously by the individual and acquired, not by listening to words, but by environmental experiences.  The Montessori environment gives each child the ease with which they develop all of their psychic, physical, and intellectual potential.  By means of scientific materials, the child will develop his or her concentration, movement coordination, becoming self-sufficient, and will develop a respect for working in addition to building his or her personality, to accepting his or her mistakes, to arriving at self-control.  It also helps them to develop their feelings and the acquisition of cultural knowledge.

Our starting point will be the demonstration of aptitudes and personality of each child, since he or she is our teacher.  It is through observation that we are going to realize the individual needs of each child in order to be able to guide them individually.  The environment proposes giving the child a place where he or she can be independent from the adult since the urge for being independent is basic in the inner life of the child.  A place where he or she finds challenges and adequate stimulation for his or her personal growth in an atmosphere of freedom, respect, and collaboration.
